Living Well Bromley achieve AQS standard for advising well!
Living Well Bromley is proud to announce that they have achieved the Advice Quality Standard (AQS), a nationally recognised quality mark for organisations providing independent advice to members of the public.
Rev Nick Read, Chair of Trustees said ‘We are so pleased to have been awarded the AQS as it shows the people using our service as well as those funding our service that we are working to the best possible professional standards. The team of staff and volunteers have worked extremely hard to achieve the AQS and the Board will be making sure that they maintain these high standards over the course of the year.’
Guest, Alan Mason, said 'Over the time that the advocacy team at Living Well have acted for me, I have found them to be helpful, efficient, understanding and hugely supportive. It is good to see that this has been recognised and they have been awarded this standard to show it officially'.
Award given for good advice
The AQS is awarded by the national umbrella group, the Advice Services Alliance. The ASA Director Lindsey Poole said: ‘The AQS is a tough benchmark to achieve, particularly in challenging times for the voluntary sector and our clients and we offer our congratulations to Living Well Bromley for so clearly making the grade.’
Living Well Bromley will proudly display the AQS logo, joining the community of over 650 organisations across the country of AQS holders.
