Food and Support that Changes lives
Living Well is a caring community which aims to be a place where people feel accepted, loved and valued.
We work with our partners to support people with different needs – including poverty, social isolation, mental health issues and homelessness – in Penge, South East London and the surrounding areas.
Our work reflects our Christian beliefs and everyone is welcome, whoever they are.
Our services are all free to use and include a foodbank, a free hot lunch, community choir and support with housing, homelessness, welfare benefits and mental health issues including addictions.More
We're looking for new volunteers! There are lots of ways to help out at Living Well, from working behind the scenes making up food bags to collecting food from supermarkets, serving hot drinks or working in the foodbank.
If you'd like to come along to one of our induction sessions, please let us know by filling in our volunteer form, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Living Well exists thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
Whatever you can give will help us support those in need in Penge and the surrounding areas.
If you are struggling with the cost of living, debt, homelessness, addictions or loneliness we may be able to help.
Our foodbank and community cafe is open three times a week and our partners can help with drug and alcohol addiction, debt, managing money and benefits. Our community lunch takes place every Friday where you can have a free hot meal and pudding. We offer a warm welcome, time to talk or just be still and rest in a safe place.
You do not need a voucher or a referral. Please just come along. Information on times here.
